Cash Bonds

When the court requires the full bail amount paid directly in cash.

A cash bond means the entire bail amount is paid in full to the court or jail. Some courts require this for certain charges. The upside: if the defendant makes every court appearance, the money is returned at the end of the case — minus any court fees.

The problem is obvious — most families don't have thousands of dollars in cash sitting ready. If a cash bond is set and you can't cover it, we can talk through your options, including collateral-backed arrangements to free up the funds.

  • Full bail amount paid to the court
  • Refundable after all court dates are met
  • Court fees may be deducted
  • Call us if you can't cover it in full
